Hello all fiddle-tune lovers!
On September 11th, Vidar Skrede (from Norway) and Patrik Ahlberg (from Sweden) will be giving a 2-hour workshop in both fiddle and hardanger fiddle tunes at the Danish American Center in Minneapolis. Vidar will be the main teacher for the hardanger fiddle class, while Patrik will be the main teacher for the regular fiddle class. If time allows, there might be a switch of teachers between the classes.
Hardanger Fiddle Class (Vidar):
– for hardanger fiddles
Fiddle Class (Patrik):
– for fiddles and fiddle-friendly instruments
Both Classes:
– are suitable for intermediate and advanced players (anyone is welcome to this experience).
– taught by ear (bring recording devices). Sheet music will be provided by email after the class
